What it is
The original Hood Warfare is a low-budget multiplayer FPS set in a fictional Detroit. You pick a gang, customise a weapon and fight other players across small urban maps. It supports both online PvP and bot matches.
It uses partial controller support (menus may still need a mouse), unlike the sequel, which lists full controller support.

Which one should you play?
Hood Warfare 2 is the newer, larger and more actively patched game — Trapstar Games shipped three updates in its first eight days. The original has a much smaller population (double-digit concurrent players), so matchmaking is effectively dead outside peak hours. If you are buying one, buy the sequel.
